On February 18th, 2020, Dr. Hayek coordinated the episode 02 of R&DC 2020 Tech Talks hosted by the Carbon Management Division.
The event featured three talks:
1- Safety presentation: “Carbon Monoxide: The Silent Killer” by Samar Arjah.
2- Junior technical presentation: “Functionalized Hyper Cross-linked Polymers for Post-Combustion CO2 Capture” by Dr. Ammar Alahmed.
3- Senior technical presentation: “Membrane Reactor for Hydrogen Production” by Dr. Stephen Paglieri.
The event was concluded by an Audience Engagement Quiz using www.mentimeter.com, featuring 5 multiple choice questions. The winner was announced and recognized by the R&DC manager Dr. Ammar Nahwi.
