On January 21st, 2020, Dr. Hayek coordinated episode 01 of R&DC 2020 Tech Talks hosted by the Non-Metallics Applications Development Division.
The event featured three talks:
1- Safety presentation: “Microwaving Plastics” by Noor Alsakhen.
2- Junior technical presentation: “Plastic: Design for Sustainability” by Dr. Haleema Alamri.
3- Senior technical presentation: “Role of Innovative Materials in Creating Sustainable Crude Demands” by Dr. Ihsan Taie.
The event was concluded by an Audience Engagement Quiz using www.mentimeter.com, featuring 5 multiple choice questions. The winner was announced and recognized by the R&DC manager Dr. Ammar Nahwi.
